About The Muse
Located just off Route 32 and Madeline Lane in Rosendale, NY, The Muse is a music venue and hub for the arts — a welcoming space for curated live events, creative gatherings, and community connection.
We exist to serve the Hudson Valley’s vibrant creative community. With several beloved local venues having closed in recent years, The Muse fills a vital need — a safe and welcoming place where musicians, artists, and audiences can congregate, rehearse, take classes, and share their work with one another. We host live music, art shows, movement and healing arts events and practices. We also offer opportunities for new and emerging artists and musicians to share their work.
Our building has a rich history in the heart of Rosendale, NY. For nearly a decade, it served as a beloved local restaurant, bar, and alt/rock micro-venue, celebrated by the New York Times as a gathering spot for Hudson Valley transplants. After sitting empty for several years, the space has been lovingly reimagined and reborn as The Muse.
The Muse is also available for studio and event rental. Whether you’re looking for a rehearsal space, a performance venue, or a unique setting for your next event, we’d love to welcome you.
